Anza Trail Signs

Working under commisions from The National Park Service, the Arizona Department of Transportation, and Pima County, I created 11 historic illustrations of the Anza Expedition of 1775-76 for signs to be placed along the historic Anza trail as it winds through southern Arizona. I have also created additional illustrations for the Town of Marana, and the Santa Fe Ranch. Here is a portion of the illustrations used for signs.

The Anza Trail
On the eve of the American Revolution, Lt. Colonel Juan Bautista de Anza led more than 240 men, women, and children on an epic journey across the frontier of New Spain to establish a settlement at San Francisco Bay.
